FC lost 4-3 at Prescot Cables yesterday. 2-0 down, 2-1 down, 3-3, then conceded the fourth as we were pushing for the winner. We still had time to hit the bar, though.
And it was also nice to see the scouse gene-pool was as intelligent and varied as ever.

Wireless were a good craic when they came to Leigh t'other week (and, yes, we did beat them ) but I suppose the FC factor tends to bring out the local numpties, does it not?

Got it in one. Rumour afterwards was that Everton were knocking about, but who knows...
Bootle are at Atherton today, FA Vase qualifying game. Handy trip, not too far and in with every chance. Play like we did last week against Buxton and we should do well for ourselves.
