I agree with you there. We should have beaten Cas and Wakey but if you look at it from a different pespective ie we never really expected to beat St Helens or Warrington then i suppose it evens itself out.

Yes, we could have made the top six, no we did not deserve to. We have not been tough enough to beat on occasion and my fervent hope for next season is that we get a bit of grit into the side, and become more difficult to beat. If we can eliminate some of the cricket scores against us and maybe turn some of the marginal deafeats into marginal wins then we will be progressing nicely.

Hull have performed well below anyone's expectations. As a Rovers fan I am delighted that we finished above them, as a RL fan from Hull I am disappointed that the city has no representation in the play offs and regardless of their performance this season Hull must be favourite to fill that position next year.
