He plays mostly second row for us but he can do stints in the front row. He's not an explosive type player more of a steady grafting type. For some reason the last 18 months he hasn't kicked on like he should have done.

Are you sorry to see him leave? Or is he just one of many players of a similar ability in your academy set up?

Probably. A lot of our juniors at the moment seem to be finding it hard living in Sam Burgess shadow.

Surprised by this tbh. KN has been pretty much a fixture in the 17 this season, playing 21 SL games. This compares with 10 for Welham and 7 for I'anson, who both got new contracts. We are hardly over endowed with experienced club-trained players or hookers. Hopefully Hodgson will be able to step up pdq.
