winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if more follow for next season. I can honestly see the GP's going to a single-tyre comp next year.

Michelin wouldn't stand a chance with getting that gig.
But i think Bridgestone have said they wont be able to get tyres for each team or something along those lines

I think you're right about Michelin - they've blown any chance of getting any more deals for a good while yet.
As for Bridgestone, if the chance came up I'm sure that they'd find the wherewithal to make it work. Dunlop and Pirrelli manage to supply even more bikes on much smaller budgets.

Farcical scenes at Indy yesterday.
Race red-flagged after 20 laps (from 28). Under normal rules, that would have pushed the race passed the point where the result is declared "as stands".
As they pull into the garage, Dorna suggest a 6-8 lap sprint race to finish, despite banners, advertising hoardings and hospitality tents all collapsing around the track and in the paddock.
Rossi and Stoner tell the Dorna organisers how stupid their idea is and, eventually, the result is declared as stands.
250cc race was called off as well.
Call me cynical, but if yesterday hadn't been the 'first race in a new and very lucrative market', Rossi would have been on the podium within five minutes of parking up in the garage.
Well done to Nicky Hayden as well, a good result on his 'home' track and in front of the Honda Racing boss. He'll do well at Ducati next year.
