Spot on
As I have said before The RFL is corrupt how CELTIC ,QUINNS, WAKEFIELD AND CASTLEFORD can get in in place or in front of LEIGH,WIDNES AND HALIFAX is beyond me, the 4 that have got licences are the worst followed teams or have stadia that is nowhere near the required standard and are nowhere near starting work on a new stadium.
I would prefer playing Widnes at home with 2500 Widnes fans there or 1500 from Leigh than 30 that Quinns bring or the 150 that Wakey and Cas bring and God knows how many Celtic fans will turn up 10 - 50 I would imagine .
Letting teams like these in the league destroy the atmosphere at home games and makes the competition less enjoyable, the licences handed out is a step backwards imo.
They had the chance to enhance the game and make it better imo they have not done this, out of the 4 that are in I would say Wakefield are the only ones that should have got one but that would have been close to Quinns but how long do you give teams like Quinns to develop a fan base they have been in business over 10 yrs now and still cant break the 4000 a match at home games week in week out and that includes away fans so how small is there home support I would guess at 3-3500 is that enough for a team with 10 yrs + development behind them.
Will we now face the same with Celtic as we have with Quinns ? or are we just trying to sell Sky dishes in Wales ?
