I thought you were taking the michael, at first.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Figure that out!
The RFL are braindead. I hope this decision fails miserably.
We said the same thing about Catalans & look how successful thats been!
Fine if you want to keep RL a minority sport, it's people like you that can't see past the M62 and realise that there is hunger for Rugby League when the sport needs to expand to attract more players, stronger competition etc....
Next we need a Cumbrian team for 2011.

Loads of texts on SSN from Widnes fans saying, "I will never watch rugby league again...." Talk about OTT
Tony Smith: "I thought the fans really made the difference on Sunday. At times I looked at the South Stand and thought WOW those guys are rocking in there, I like that."

I personally think we will see 16 teams come the next franchise in 2011, exciting times ahead for rugby league fans though.

Was intrested to hear what the Quins co-owner said about having a midlands team. As I grew up in the midlands i know the game is getting bigger there but especially Nottingham where I did grow up they have a team that seem to do well every year in the low low leagues and they also have an international player Cant remember who! Will try and see!
His comment was to bridge London and the North so a midlands team would be ideal!
