my mate reffed it, another was on the line. i was in the refs room at the end when the safety officer and policeman in charge came in and they reported that there were no major incidents. couple of scuffles but nothing worth reporting. as you obviously wern't there i suggest you don't listen to tittle tattle

I wasn't there, obviously, but can't understand why our local rag would lie about it... Everyone at the club seems happy with a version of events where something resembling a golf ball (i.e., a golf ball) was launched from the away end at our keeper's head.


Anyway......
Drew 2-2 with Boro last night. Played alright for about half an hour, but Boro don't look up to much. Afonso Alves clearly couldn't be arsed with it. Only Julio Arca of their lot impressed me.

Another pre-season game, another 2-2 draw, another last minute equaliser from the team higher up the ladder. We're looking in reasonable shape, though we did the same last year before f---ing it up royally in the first month.
