He is the type of person that could get the best out of players and earn their respect and loyalty in the same way that Sir Alex or Arsene Wenger does.

I'd like to see how much respect any soccer coach would get from his prima donna players if they had to live on a mere £75k a year instead of their current 'compensation', roughly equivalent to the gross domestic product of Iceland, for poncing around boring everyone.

That's just an observation.
Well your observations are in some ways correct because I had just rushed to the interview (was 15 minutes late this week!) and I am due a hair cut!
But the stand is like a wind tunnel so if you have flowing locks they are going to get the windsept look!

I see these comments as a defence of our current coach and potentially criticism of our previous coach. I feel this is a dangerous route to go down.
There are loads of unfounded comments on here about players and coaches, yet you can't come here and dispel all the nonsense. When you don't dispel it, will things be assumed to be true?

Not at all - The only I reason I posted my comments was due to the fact James was described as "the defence coach". There is no such role within the club nor has there been. Defence and structures etc come under the role of Head Coach.
As the comments were posted by a member of the media rather than a regular poster, I felt it was right to correct an inaccurate piece of information. The same way I would if a newspaper did the same thing.

Hope this clears things up
Greg
Fair enough, the problem I see with that is that there are inaccuracies on here every day of every week, and it leaves you open if you start to try and dispel some of them. When you don't dispel some other inaccuracies, do we start to assume that they are in fact accurate.
I'm not having a go, but some of the people on here will always read things into everything you say as you are an official, I personally would prefer club officials to leave things like this as they are. I have heard Lowes described as defensive coach many times, just as Forshaw was before him, yet I have never heard anyone from the club post to correct that inaccuracy. I feel you'd end up having a full time job on here if you started!!!

On one hand it is good that he has dispelled the whole defensive coach misconception, but I feel he may be opening a can of worms.
I think you are reading too much into it. As Greg explained, he wasn't "getting involved with the nonsense on here", he was responding to an error made by a member of the media in a published interview. And yes, whilst you have a point that perhaps there are other things the club should perhaps respond to and don't, it's no big deal really.
