It was a comfortable victory over Lazcano, but his punch resistance is getting worse and worse and he is getting hit far too easily at the moment fighting in straight lines.

A fight with Malignaggi (who was shocking and I thought got beat) is make or break for me. He has to go over to the States and beat Malignaggi and beat him impressively or think about hanging the gloves up IMO.

Malignaggi at MSG would be nice.

I'll be saving the coppers up to go if it happens.

Malignaggi had a nightmare. Getting your hair in your eyes for the sake of fashion is ridiculous. I think Ricky would take him apart, however, I agree about him being too easy to hit these days, although credit the hispanic causing panic (best nickname ever!) he was game and wasn't there to lay down.

Hatton's always gets hit to be fair as his style means he'll take one to get a few in. He's all action and that's what makes him exciting to watch. After Mayweather it was a confidence booster fight and I thought he did pretty well overall. Round 10 could've potentially been a horrible round for Ricky, but he did well to hold on and dominate the next couple of rounds to comfortably win the fight.

I reckon he's got 3 fights left in his career and they'll be big fights in America IMO. He may take on Mayweather at Wembley, but from what I've been hearing HBO and Goldenboy would prefer it in the US again.

Think Mayweather has bigger rematches to fight than Hatton like Oscar De La Hoya.

Mayweather will go where the money is. He's fighting De La Hoya in September and he'll definitely beat him, but he'd fight Hatton next year if the money was there. I've no doubt it'd be a big money fight too, even though Mayweather would probably win. Although, personally I think Mayweather should look to fight better fighters like Miguel Cotto. That would be a great fight. Seal his legacy by taking on the best in his division instead of fighting past it fighters or lighter fighters.

Look at the pics at the bottom - both Ricky and Juan didn't half take a beating. Ricky's face looked better after the Mayweather match.

Don't think he comes out of many fights looking good though in all honesty, but that kind of backs up the point I was making about his defence and punch resistance, It's not what it was IMO.

I just think back to the night he just walked through everything Kostya Tsyzu had to offer and that's a hell of a lot more than Lazcano had in his locker. Maybe for the Tsyzu fight there was that much more to gain from victory and the atmosphere was unbelievable which also could have helped.

Maybe with the pressure of coming back from defeat in front of 56,000 added a bit of anxiety which probably grew as the fight went on and he was landing good shots without being able to finish Lazcano off?

I'm not sure, but I do know he needs a big performance next time out.

The two things that I kind of agree with. I'm not sure about his punch resistance being less. His face is a bit of a mess, but that shows that he took some good shots and survived. His defence is definitely a problem though and he seems to get hit more now than he did a few years back. Technically it needs to be worked on, although I'm not sure he will as he likes to be the aggressor.

I definitely agree with your last sentence, he'll need to improve he wants to do well in the bigger fights. Malignaggi is a certainty fight in the Autumn, but after that I'm not sure what path he will take. He certainly needs to perform better. Luckily for Ricky, he's the biggest draw in boxing at the moment.

''the man'' choc mundine won again .retained the world champ belt tonight  8) now if we get him back too play stand off for the dragons

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Mundine's a joke.

He's got two "names" on his record (Ottke and Kessler) both of whom beat him. Other than that he's fought a succession of mid-carders with no pedigree.
