I've decided that the only fair thing to do right now is to line our batters up against a wall and let the pitching staff chuck fastballs at them. This is to be a daily ritual. Batters are only excluded from the wall if they go on a hit streak of 3 games. They return to the wall if the don't get a hit for 3 games. Players who ony get 1 start a week or less get to watch from the sides - they may also laugh and point.
Alternmatively Gibbons and JP get their marching orders and we put a trained chimp in charge as it would seemingly do a better job.

I like it!!
Maybe we could get a 'Naughty' chair also and make them sit on it if their bats go missing!

The Jays seem to be out of their slump, winning 6 of their last 7. They even got the bats swinging a bit last night, but we really have the most fantastic pitching to thank for the recent wins. Shaun Marcum's last 2 outings have been absolute gold (I've been fortunate to witness them both firsthand) with 9 strikeouts in each game. Must aslo mention Dustin Mcgowan who is throwing some kind of heat. I think he's going to be the player that AJ Burnett was supposed to be.
Bobby Hill on the mound for us tonight. I'm actually hopeful of another victory - even though we're historically bad against Tampa.
Also looks like the injury to Johnny Mac is not as serious as it first appeared (thank fook). He may not even need to go on the DL.
So Gibby gets a reprieve for now (especially after his comments about giving JMac more game time) - JP can still fook off though.
