If you'd have been happy relying on juniors over signing players, what did you go out and buy Dykes and even Berrigan for? Because, as you should know 6, 7 & 9 aren't positions you can just dump kids in and expect them to do a SL job week-in-week-out.

If you really don't think we needed to sign another halfback after Webbo's injury, you're even dafter than I thought you were.

The key is to mix quality experienced players with up and coming local youth who will be the long term backbone of your side into the future.



Crooke/Chester, Crooke/Galea, Crooke/Murrell. Just some alternatives at hb with Fisher at 9 - who's suggesting filling all these positions with juniors ? - not me.
