the thing is, according to your fans your not spending the SC this season, + you could get rid of one of Fisher and Webster who whilst probably not big earners now, they will have been when in NL1 and so on a decent wage,

why not spend that on Berrigan?

Yes.

Can't disagree with much of that. Webster and Fisher were both under contract for 2008, but I suppose Jim Gannon was as well. Berrigan would have improved us (making the big assumption he would have considered coming). Hopefully Webster and Fisher will show you that they are not too bad tonight.

You may not regard Cooke as 'internationally class', but he was a huge part of an admittedly good hull side that reached a challenge cup final and grand final in the space of a year. Considering they're the only competitions that matter to SL clubs, I'd say we have at least one half back good enough for a side with trophy aspirations.

I think most Rovers fans are not bothered one way or the other if he comes or not, lets face it he is a 'good' player not a 'great' player. If he comes he will be a good addition to the squad, nothing more. If we were talking about players of the calibre of Israel Falou or Greg Inglis, then I could get all excited, but for Craig Hall I honestly am not bothered either way.

The only ones of yours I think are really worth pushing the boat out for are Berrigan and possibly Carvell.
