Matt king in sean gleeson's pocket today
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
Matt King has been in more pockets than an old 2p... mind you, some will have you believe that 2p is all he gets paid.

Lee Marsh who we got from Blackpool and who has been flirting round the lower reaches of the NL's for a few years smashed King all over the park today [ fairly I might add ]

In fact Gleeson got the same as well

Good job Briers came back to play

Also it's about time Mr Ganson learned the rules

Since when can you do a ' grubber ' kick from under the sticks ?

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Nothing illegal about making a short kick from a drop out AFAIK, but it is a dangerous tactic.

I think he may mean as opposed to a dropout. ie, to drop it on the floor first. Right Starbug ?

Yep thats the one

Also I didn't know you were allowed to kick them from about 5/6 feet into the pitch [ 3 times ]

I admit that King was bobbins again today but Marsh was helpful and never in a million years did he "smash" King all over the park as you put it.
