Mets lose once again this time 5-2 against the Phillies,Baltimore continue their good form by beating the Texax Rangers 8-1 in an impressive display.
It just keeps getting worse for Detroit too as there currently 5-0 down in Boston in the bottom of the 7th,does anyone know what the worst opening season losing run is?

The Orioles went 0-21 in 1988.

The Mets tried to outdo them going 0-19 in 1999.

Ouch,i dont think the Tigers will come anywhere near a record like that because i think they have a pretty decent squad this year.

Just back from the game, bitterly dissopointing

Bad night for pitchers last night. Can't really fault the offence but we were a bit sloppy at times defensively. Well done Aaron Hill on a 4-4 night. I'm predicting a big season for him, possibly an All-Star appearance. Can't believe we locked him up on a 4 year deal for just $12M. Apparently there are some pretty good options in the deal but I reckon he'll be worth every penny of them.

Absolutly fantastic is Aaron Hill, cant believe he only came up to replace Koskie, and was supposed to go back down once Koskie came back....great move by Gibbons!!
