As for Carmont Wigan announced they had 140K on the cap and signed Mathers and Karl Pryce and in addition Carmont

Pryce, Carmont and Mathers are sharing £140,000 between them?

Somebody has done a good sellng job if that's correct.

I think Danny Hills wage is added to the 140K figure.

But still great piece of business from Wigan.
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
Do you really want a player on that much money to only be performing a quarter of the season?

Carmont can play on any pitch regardless of the weather. Why can't King?

You're easily pleased in Wigan, is this the old fabel that when anybody signs for Wigan they're suddenly very good and when they reject Wigan(which in all honesty tends to happen quite alot nowadays) they suddenly become helpful? It seems Buderus pied you of(excuse the pun) to play for a decent team as well. I love it how you're aware of wages SL players are on also..oh wait.it said it in the papers..it must be true. Let's crary on and use your logic then..Is Lee Briers better then Trent Barrett?

KP catches another :)

23 - 20 - 4

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Sometimes players come from the NRL and the excpectations of them are very high. King has not delivered to the high standard people excpected from him. And tbh King has disappointed. Hes more than lilkley the highest paid player in SL and shows nothing of the quality of the best players in the league.

As for Carmont hes solid very reliable and pretty decent with ball in hand. Has played well in most games this season. you cant say that about King can you.
