I'm not one for drinking beer at home usually, but I got a few bottles in when the brother in law came over t'other day. As he was driving he left them to me, so I will be finishing off Black Sheep Square & Rigwelter while watching Rhinos & Bulls tonight.

Had a couple of pints of Idle Sod from the Idle Brewery at The Eagle and Child pre game and thought I hope this isn't an omen for the match. Excellent drop of stuff followed by an excellent game - Perfick

Visited the PoW on Monday (as we had 40 mins to spare in Leeds on the way back from Blackpool) - it was closed. The barman in Spencers across the road said that he thought it had been open earlier but that it closes if they aren't taking much money!

The Scarbrough was open though ... pint of Bishops Finger please.

What about that for a result for us Real Ale drinkers. The clubhouse at Fylde RUFC had Landlord and Fylde Tackle (a local brew no doubt).
