yes, we started last year with a 10 point deduction which ultimatly relegated us. They arent the same board as last time. I honestly feel the club will fold
I think it's probably the right time for him to go, but I think some of his knockers will get a rude awakening when he is replaced with a 4th division central defender and see just how much better than them he still is.
He's done a hell of a lot for the club, through the administrations etc, and I'm glad to see he'll be sticking around.

Fantastic new season ticket deal for City next season. £150 an adult ticket and the first 9000 get another free. Bit concerned about the logistics of such an offer but I'll leave them to worry about that
All we need now is a win against Rotherham tonight and a glimmer of hope re-appears for the playoffs (especially as the contenders either have tough fixtures or are playing each other). Still a long shot but I can dream

It's not quite that - from what I heard on the radio earlier the free tickets only kick in if we match the total sold for this season, otherwise people would just club together for one and get the other free, if we don't reach that level (which was about 9k adults IIRC) then the free offer won't happen.
It's a good offer but I doubt we'll hit those levels again, then again I didn't think we'd sell anything like 12k in total for this year, despite the reduction, so what do I know?!

Indeed. It's a marvellous marketing idea by Rhodes and whilst we rarely hear him speak to the public, whenever he does it seems to be with some great news like this! part-time work commitments unfortuantely restricted me from a season ticket this year, but when I go to University in September a free season ticket from my mate might be jus the leaving present I'd need!

Not such a long shot in all realms of possibility. Win our games in hand and we'll be 6 off the play-offs. And of course, that situation would improve even more tonight with a win. I'd like to see Thorne play 90 though, as far as I'm concerned he's the most intelligent player in this league. He also seems to have his goal-scoring boots on now, since hes had a good run in the team.

That's what I meant actually but I'm not supposed to be on here at work so I rushed it

Amazing what a win can do isn't it. Those above us aren't in the best form. If we can get some home form together again. We're well in with a shot.
Hopefully Rhodes will start tonight, and I'd be tempted to leave Willy on the bench for a while too. I think he's best served as an impact player tonight with the amount of games he's had and his calf problems.
Good win tonight against a decent team, with the pace of Colbeck, Daley and Rhodes in the side we can do some damage, and so it proved.
We sat back too much and invited them onto us in the second half, but that always happens with a two goal lead and I'm just glad we didn't throw points away at the end again.
Those defeats against Bury and Rochdale are now much more annoying than they were at the time!
