Massive mistake letting him go, glad hes doing well for you.
Yep. Among some Sharp can do no wrong, however here he clearly has. A huge mistake letting him go that will haunt us. Briscoe will only get better as well.
Well we'll get to support him again in the future anyway....

Read the posts on here some good and bad points on Briscoe.I like my Full-back to be safe under the bomb, deal with the rolling ball and be safe in defence all of which Briscoe are but nowadays the full-back is seen as a "pivot" returning the ball well and linking up well in the back line all of which Tony does well.
I can understand Sharps reasoning for releasing Briscoe( but he wouldnt have been released if he had accepted his new deal on offer at the time),i think even you rovers fans on here will agree that briscoe can only play fullback and cant cover anywhere else(as his performance in the drby battering proved),which i think led to his release and the signing of Byrne who can cover 3 positions.I personally would have kept Briscoe with Motu as cover for fb/wing and hooker but we will have to trust Sharp on this one.

Briscoe was outstanding again for us yesterday, he backed up play well, made good yards on returning kicks, scored a cracking try and he put in 2 monster one-on-one tackles.
I for one was not to keen on the Briscoe signing, I was happy with Charlie at FB but seeing Briscoe's last 2 performances I think he will become a real fans favorite(if not already one). 100% effort and commitment!
Plus I believe Hull will be looking at signing a specialist FB for next season.

People are obsessed with us keeping Tony for Briscoe. Sharps biggest error is keeping Sing for Briscoe. How can this man still be on our books, never been 100% fit. You only had ONE full season to suss it out MrSharp and you ballsd it up. Tony could slot almost anywhere covering for the likes of Sing and we could have kept Shaun at no.1. Ridiculous decision. Fair play to rovers for capitalising on our stupidity.

Ill make a prediction, FC to beat Rovers by 20 points in Cardiff, Rovers relegated at the end of the year. Most of the squad disappears and Rovers dont make the franchise. The end for Rovers as a club.
