Because he doesn't offer as much in attack as Tony does although he is a good support player (briscoe). But returning the ball didn't do anything part from duck and get tackled. where as tony will look for a gap and is a better link up player!

HE OFFERED PLENTY IN ATTACK TODAY HE SHOULD BE NICKNAMED THE GHOST HE SPIRITS HIMSELF IN POSITIONS TO RECEIVE PASSES.

When I stated that Briscoe was the Hull player I'd most like to see at Rovers I was slated for it. The guy is and has always been a class act, and one of the bravest players I've had the privilege of seeing play. I understand where Sharp was coming from in keeping Motu, but we have benefitted in a big way.

Im not taking away the fact that briscoe is a great player just feel as though he doesn't offer as much as Motu!
