Good win for City tonight. We look a much more confident side. Billy Topp is way way too good to be playing in this division, and it's unlikely that he will be next season.

Indeed. See how he fares in League One with us

But seriously, the guy looks a class above anyone I've seen. A likeness to a lower league Carbone!

Exactly what I said on the OMB. (Although I am a little embarrased to admit that I posted on the OMB  )

Never mind next season, if there were any scouts there last night I'm more worried about the transfer window still being open and him being with us on Saturday!

How is Nix doing now?, has he had much game time?

Bullock has been a good signing for me, he doesn't do anything spectacular, but he's an effective physical presence in the midfield, and does a lot of good in breaking up play and winning the ball.

Nix has been a good signing too, I think that's 7 goals this season after last night - he's a good, intelligent, footballer but sometimes struggles in this division because it is very physical at times and he's not really strong enough to play in the centre of midfield, while he doesn't have the pace to be an out and out winger, so I can see why he is left out fairly regularly.

That's us now unbeaten in 7, and only 3 defeats in the league since mid-October, hope we can keep it up.

It occured to me a couple of weeks back that he might be holding him back until the end of the transfer window. With rumours of some interest from West Brom, there might be some truth in that.

I'm still more inclined to think that if they had the chance to rake some money in, they'd do all they could to ensure it happened!

A couple more months like that though and his value will shoot up!

True enough, in typical City tradition we'll probably manage to get at least 20k for him!

Then again if we emulate the 1969 team and go 21 games unbeaten from December to the end of the season to go from mid-table to promotion we might be able to hold onto him!
