On my way Leeds Aagrah for the full whitey experience in 10 minutes, c/o one of our suppliers. Of course I will be declaring it.

Went into Zouks on leeds Road this lunch time.
Haddock Tandoori was small and thin and overcooked. Not marinaded but spices pasted on before cooking and those not as subtle as is needed on fish.
Chicken Biryani cooked with whole spices. generally my preference but way over the top. No flavours coming through except the massive spices and the dry chicken.
Would prefer to be complimentary in some way but find it hard to do so.
Apart from the disappointing meal the cost was high and the waiter unwelcoming.
In general a pretentious place without substance.

I've defended the place in the past, but I can honestly say I haven't had a worse curry than the one I had in the Kashmir last night.
The starters were fine as usual, for mains I ordered a chicken madras, and my friend a bhuna - in his own words he hadn't had a curry for "about three years", they aren't big in the wilderness of rural Shropshire, but as soon as it arrived in front of him his first comment was "that doesn't look right".
The chicken was a weird grey-ish colour, and my best description of it would be to say the meat was soggy, it tasted disgusting and I had no more than three mouthfuls, he had about a similar amount of his.
I wanted to refuse to pay, but him being a soft Southern jessie he paid the bill anyway, I certainly won't be going back there unless I hear very good things in the future.
Living in Salisbury is awful for currys up until last weekend I decided to go into a restaraunt called the Asia its the 5th oldest curry house in the UK (apparently). They had a baby chair for my youngest they even gave him a bananna and me and the wife ordered a chicken bhuna each and all I have to say about the place was fantastic for a bunch of southerners. It was even better than most in bradford. so wether any of you decide to come on holiday or be in the Army and be posted down here like myself then you should definatley consider going there.

Just discussing the Kashmir with a mate from work; he informed me he got a takeaway from there after work on Friday & spent the weekend on the bog in some discomfort.
