It just came from a reliable source, last night.

Is this due to Hill leaving or another player leaving?

Got to say this is a top signing

Could be an astute signing.

Will allow Bailey up into the 2nd row full time.

One more signing to come by all accounts - if it is Terry Newton then I will be over the moon with close season recruitment :)
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
I don’t have any problem with potentially short term signing (has it mentioned how long the deal is anywhere?).

Sounds decent by all accounts and reliable without bleeding us financially dry. Best of all it FINALLY looks like we have a year where we don’t have to release all out up and coming players to get some depth in the squad! Woo hoo!!! :D

Good luck George!!!

Who knows could be Roby if Stains don't secure him.

I'm happy with this signing. Looking forward to next season and seeing some faces staying..makes a change. :)

I know he's good defensively, but I just worry about his attacking play.

We haven't seen a good attacking centre at Wigan for a good few years.

Doesn’t look like he’s on a big contract. Those days thankfully seem to have gone!

I think he will go ok for us and looking forward to see how he goes on

Let's wait and see.

Solid defender, quite quick with a very good fend. But he certainly wouldn't get into any of the top teams in SL although that has to be expected with the financial difficulties we have.

The contract is for 2 years which possibly could be 1 year too many. But I'm guessing he needed at least that length of contract for him to agree to the deal. He's centre/wing so he will at least have utility value now and in the future.
