Fair cop to the lad for giving a very distinct and clear account of himself and his intentions but I think he could've chosen his words better. 'I won't settle for mediocrity'.. Did he not see the league table? Second from bottom is far below what most people would call mediocrity! Anyway bring on next season, can't wait to see this team of Aussie's fall flat on their asses. What you have in proven talent this coming season will fall very short in terms of the team spirit, pride and passion that was what kept you in Super League last season.

So Messrs Fitzhenry, Galea, Crossman and Newton lack pride and passion? You'd wonder how Wests and Storm have scraped by in recent years.
As for team spirit, how can you possibly comment when the team is yet to play together?
Before 2006 we brought in a large number of new players to the club. By your logic, we should have lacked team spirit. We didn't. Justin Morgan instilled an exceptional team spirit, and in 2007 that same spirit saw us survive despite a contrived fixture list and a late recruitment period.
I'm confident 2008 will see more of the same.

Think the giveaway is he says he is to concerned with on the field matters to discuss his future with the club at present. The article also discusses other East Hull lads at the KC and the possibility of them interesting Rovers, ie Craig Hall, Lee Radford, Richard Horne, Grahame Horne, and Danny Washbrook.
