No excuse.

Supporting Stains when there is no direct Wigan interest is an absolute no-no.

No true Wigan fan would do this.

Never support Stains where Wigan are not advantaged by doing so.

How could a Wigan fan support Stains?

Right every body support Saints cos Andy lives in Leeds and doesn't like them. As a Warrington fan who is likely never to get there to watch my team i must stick to childish and jealous behaviour and support the Yorkshire team.

Who says? It is not the rule that if you support Wigan you have to support the team (whoever they may be) playing against Saints.

I'll be supporting Leeds because I will gain a little more pleasure from the season knowing we got knocked out of the play-offs by the winners of the competition. But if Saints win, it's no big deal.

Andy wants Saints to win because he doesn't want the hassle of Leeds fans in his face all day for weeks. Which is understandable, I'm sure if I had to put up with Leeds fans instead of Saints fans I'd feel the same.

When Saints play in the WCC, do you want the Aussie side to win? (So do I ) - OK bad example...

When GB are playing, do you not want KC, James Roby, Paul Wellens and Jon Wilkin to perform well just because they play for Saints?

Hopeless justification

Firstly you cannot compare GB to club football.

Secondly most Wigan fans HATE Stains. I would argue ALL true Wigan fans should hate Stains, but that is my personal belief.

Of course it's not a "rule" but imo True Wigan fans would never support Stains, as I said unless doing so directly advantaged Wigan.
