Common sense alone tells you that Matt King will be on a far higher contract than Michael Monaghan, Matt King was a current origin and test international when he signed for us and by leaving Australia he was giving up rep football and all the money that goes with it.
Michal Monaghan has yet to play any origin or test rugby which means Matt King had a far bigger bargaining tool to negotiate a far higher contract in what he was giving up to come to the UK, i`m suprised you even aksed to be honest. And before you ask as i`m sure the question would have been due, no i don`t know the details of players contracts as my assumption was based on common sense of the above.

Mickey Monaghan was awesome today.
Got concussion then came back on he was on brilliant form.
Hope he can bring this to Wire next year, im sure he wants to play 7 but could he go in at 9 instead of Clarke?
Lets hope Cullen dont F*** this up like he did with Sullivan.

Reasonable assumptions, but are just that. I could also say that Cullen's top priority was a halfback and he moved to sign Monaghan pretty early.

And I could just as easily say, let's hope Monaghan doesn't **** it up like Sullivan did.

Going off previous years it would be wise for you lot to not take the pi$$, keep shtum, and wait until your player comes over here and does the business first.
I remember all this happening with Rauhihi V Cayless and I remember it with Gleeson and Lyon and I remember how Morley was going to boss any other front row combination. I also remember the raving that was done about Michael Sullivan too.

I don't think anyone was taking the pi$$ out of the players ability, it was more having a pop at the Stains fans arrogant attitudes toward how their players are percieved.
