Does anyone know if the International or the Punjab is open on a Friday lunch (about 12ish)? Few of us on about going for lunch today but unsure if any of them are open as I've never been at lunchtime before.

I'm 99% sure I have been in the International on a weekday lunchtime before.

Only 2 curry houses worth going to in Bradford.

First one is Omar Khans in the City Centre.

Second is Rafiq Catering in the middle of West Bowling.

And of course you've tried them all to make this claim? Thought not.

Went to the long-time long-overrated Kashmir last week, first city centre curry I've had in ages. My onion bhaji was dry & tasteless, some of my colleagues who work for our catering section (I use that term loosely) had chicken things & were even more scathing about theirs. My veg karahi was like a bowl of overcooked school veg with an after thought of spices added. I buggered off for my train before getting any further feedback.

I had the same experience last weekend. Went downstairs cos we hadn't been in in years and wanted to see if it was still poor. It was one of the worst I've had in years. The chicken was rubbery and bland, and the veg' the GF had looked like it had been boiled away to nearly nothing.

The only reason to go in there is to get a novelty naan you can use as a poncho.
