Try Ticketmaster, I think all NBA teams use them? I got mine for the Supersonics through them using Will Call window, just show your credit card at the stadium and they hand over your tickets. They will only start single game tickets when they know how many season tickets they are going to shift, probably middle of September.
The Knicks also have a Ticket Exchange on their website, so I`d keep an eye on that.
You could also try Razorgator closer to the time, they were great and sent my NFL tickets to my hotel in Seattle.

Wicked, cheers. Not sure what demand is like but a game on a Wedensday night, 2nd week in December? Decent chance of acquiring a couple of tickets?

That`s great in principle, but what`s underneath them? They are going to have to play at least 42 minutes a game regularly for the Celtics to win.
The other thing is all these players are used to being the main men on their respective teams and taking the bulk of the shots, the Celtics may need two balls on the court to keep them all happy.

Artest has an opt out at the end of 2008. The Knicks would be foolish to give up too much for him, unless they can work an extension with him as part of the trade.
Artest is a time bomb though, maybe a move back to his hometown may do him the world of good, but the media in NY would/could eat him alive.

Agree with the above, would have to be a sign and extend.
