My only gripe with Penny is he is a poor tackler, under the high ball he is safe. He played basketball all his life and seems to have the ability to catch a ball. I suppose a real test will come when he faces a winger who towers above him.
I didnt say anything about potential, i said Hardman is a better player than Penny.

Strewth mate get off the lad`s back - sounds like you not happy with a wingman unless he`s got the combined skills of Wally Lewis , Martin Offiah with a little bit of Lockyer thrown in - all I know is that he`s played 2 full games so far in his career and playing against the two top sides in the land he`s managed three tries , that will do for me ...

It's the truth, he is not as good as Ian Hardman!
Ok so he can score a few trys, it's no good when you let the same amount in aswell.
I think has has great potentional, but at the moment IMO all he has is speed.

So you are comparing two wingers with 1 having played 2 SL games while the other must have notched up about 30 or so over four seasons?
Hmmmm.

He's fast, he scores tries - he's done EXACTLY what it says on the Wingman's tin. As a neutral, it's a delight to watch some pace again instead of the bulked up lard ar5es we see nowadays steamrollering on the wings.
I remember Martin Offiahs early games - he was like bambi on ice and looked way way out of his depth and when he toured with GB to Australia in 1988 he was as raw as sushi but I'd rather see flashes of brilliance and sheer speed as epitomised by Offiah than some pumped up Schwarzenegger huffing and puffing after a 30 yard sprint.
