Gutted I am at home in Guisborough by myself cos I just felt like hugging random strangers when the final whistle went. Been watching the Celts for about 14 years, playing in the Unibond first division before crowds of less than 100, under the leadership of Martin Haresign and Dennis Metcalfe!
Two play-off final wins in a row, three play-off finals in a row. Got promoted in 2003/4 as part of league restructure, the 2004/5 debacle saw them robbed of the championship and lose on pens to Workington in the unibond premier final, 2005/6 beat North Ferriby in the Unibond Premier final, 2006/7 beat Hinckley in the play-off final.
Good bye Bamber Bridge, Belper and Flixton
Hello Oxford, York and Torquay!!
I think there were seven leagues between Bradford City and Farsley Celtic six years ago, as one of the players interviewed said at the end when asked what it meant to the club "it means we're one league below Bradford City!" - that hit home and says a lot about both clubs.

Jesus! I really should start watching more Conference football, to see what we'll be up against in a years time.
