Couldn't have put it better myself. If a CEO's role isn't to "understand business" then I shudder to think what the role of CEO is!

The only reason for the original poster and the likes of Mallo is God (alter ego of the late (not so great) Wally's Barmy Army) is to satisfy their over active curiosity.
Unless you plan to take over the ownership AND control of the company you are wasting everyones time, including the clubs.
Thankfully James Rule has included in a statement recently that the club will not be drawn into answering every last rumour which starts to circulate.
For those wanting to buy shares, unless you have the financial clout to do something, which I very much doubt, either find someone who has or shut up.
I can't imagine Rob Crossland bothered to drum up support for his recent investment into rovers on an internet forum. He has the cash and got on with it.

my only dealings in ivesting money is putting cash into a bank account that ends up dissapearing each month
When you put cash into a building society the BS gives you interest on your balance, they then use the pooled investments to form the basis (to a certain extent) of their loan provision, therefore as an invester you are implicitly linked to the profitability of the organisation.
A season pass holder isn't investing, you are simply paying up front for games to attract a discount, your money is uesd as operational capital for the club.
