I dont doubt that we are all passionate fans but that is not what a club needs in directors.All this talk of businessmen putting money in has been going on for years,where are they.The fact is Plummer mentioned years ago that the club was available.Either there is no one out there or anyone wanting to purchase is hoping to do it at bargain prices.
To just expect someone will come in and act as a saviour is living in cloud cuckoo land.There is a lot of negativity around at the minute but much of it is being caused by problems outside of the club.
Whether you admire the board or not you should remember they were the ones that saved the club. Our club is one of only a few that are run at some kind of a profit and is therefore in a stronger position than most of our rivals to continue.If the present board walk away there is a very strong probability the club would fold and even if it didnt there is no guarantee any new administration would be as good never mind better.
