I was just wondering if there is a signed contract securing the building of our new stadium :?:

I know we were granted planning permission, saying the stadium can be built, but thats just permission, not a fact that the stadium WILL be built :!:

I know a major investor in the stadium is Red City Developments and that our own organisation is unlikely to pull out of the deal, but what about other investors :?:

I know it was said that even if we were relegated the stadium would still be built, but there still is no visible site of construction considering its meant to be finished for 2009.

I was just wondering whether the investors were getting cold feet due to our recent slump in performance :?:

Please somebody say there is a signed contract :!:

I doubt it, i mean who bothers with paperwork in a mere £200 million project

And investors always pull out when a team has a bad run of form :?

You must be the dumbest fan i have ever encountered, cudos.

Has there actually been a statement released saying that the stadium is 100% guarenteed to be built :?:

I dont remember reading any such article.

We have been granted permission by the Government and we have seen designs of what the stadium will look like

simularly ...

The Manchester Casino recieved Government approval and there was designs published in newspapers of what the Casino may look like.

Now the Casino is undoubtedly on its way to Blackpool, so is our stadium secured :?:

I doubt it works that way, and nothing is a 100 percent certainty. Red City Developments are probably tendering the contracts out to various building companies. Although I agree that outside of those involved in the project, we could do with a reassuring update on what is causing the delay.

That's right. Don't think that has begun yet though.
