I used to go there for take-aways, the food was always spot on and do they still do the famous kebab sandwich.?
Whether it's "whitey" or not, last night's Akbars Chicken & Keema Balti was bloomin gorgeous. Although I have a serious case of ringer stinger this morning. 3 visits already and I've only been up just over an hour.

Didnt say it wouldnt be gorgeous....ive been there and the food is superb, what we mean is they cater for us "whiteys" with there nice decor nice table cloths and cutlery, bar etc etc...and nice prices too. where as you can get the same quality food from more authentic establishments without the trimmings...if you know what i mean and at a lot less cash.
All depends on the occasion...

I remember when the one opposite the Kashmir was called the Oasis. That used to be a decent curry, a bit different from most and always very spicy. It's long gone though. Does anyone else remember it?
when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.
