Punjab Sweet Centre at dinner with AP and A fire inside.

We all had the infamous chapple kebabs as a starter. Two burger sized offerings absolutely crammed with red and green chillis as well as a few whole coriander seeds. Top notch 10/10.

For my main dish I had a lamb curry with the lamb on the bone. Pretty pricey but the meat was superb. Didn't seem too hot but maybe that was just relative to the kebabs? Like alot of lamb currys it was very rich. 7/10

AFI had keema matter and AP had the chicken with ginger that he'd previously described (when Gareth1 had it) as a 'soft cock curry'

We had a couple of rotis each but none of us could finish them as the portions were pretty large.

Had a decent look through the menu (I was sober this time) and there are several dishes I've not seen before that I want to try. Still might give the 'sheep's trotters' a miss though.

Next up, Omars tomorrow. Or Sunday.

Just been out to the International, it was the chef who likes his salt so I wasn't overly impressed with my Lamb Rogan Josh though the onion bhaji was nice enough.

It's been commented on here in the past that the quality depends on which chef is on, sometimes it can be spot on, but sometimes the dishes seem a bit powdery and oversalted.

Maybe folk who visit the place should keep track on here, and from that we can work out the shift patterns!

Take him to Leeds, you can't fail.

After eating those two Chapple Kebabs, the strength of any main dish consumed immediately after it is pretty much rendered a complete irrelevance anyhow

After you left I got a second wind and almost finished my curry and rotis, so ner :P

AP is less than 0.5% interested in the substandard Stupor League.
England's substandard performances in the RLWC08 saw to that.
