Gujurati vegetarian food, all seems to be freshly made & fantastic value. We had 4 dishes between us & a mango lassi, £13.70. http://www.prashad.co.uk/
Sounds good. What would you recommend?
Their site doesn't seem to do anything but give you their address etc. I was hoping for a menu.

We had potato & corn cake things; samosas (!), both came with a lettuce & cucumber side salad that was fresh & crisp & an incredible coriander dip; a dry potato spiced dish in a wrap with curry sauce & coconut dip; & the outstanding dish - purees filled with potato, chick peas & onions in a tamarind & yoghurt sauce – probably the best individual dish I’ve had in years. We couldn’t eat it all (& I’m a pig), so have got some in my bag for tigercub for tea. As ridlerbull says, just go and order a pile of small dishes, get them all at the same time to share, as they traditionally do in India.

You're not a salesman by any chance are you? Got me convinced.
I'll be recommending that to my curry club, cheers.

As we were sat in Omars yesterday afternoon our lass mentioned this place having been recommended to her.
Apparently open Saturday and Sunday afternoons. That'll do for me.

Just been out and sampled the delights of the Karachi, proper curry, proper surroundings and a proper price
You can't beat taking someone there for the first time either "this is a restaurant?"
I agree. Twas my first curry in Braford before I moved here (my second was the infamously terrible Commonwealth on Manor Row). It's had a special place in my belly ever since, much better than those pseudo basic ones.
