Absolute disgrace that Huddersfield have now gain the points from Gateshead by default even though this was the game that Huddersfield could not play at the start of the saeson as they didnt have a strong team out.

I feel sorry for Gateshead as this fixture shoudl have been played earlier in teh season when they probably would have beat Huddersfield.

At least we beat them on Tuesday night although we probably cant finsh above them due to there unsportman like attitude earlier in the season !!

East Lancs unable to raise a team, game to be re-arranged for a midweek when they have their NWC players available.

Hear Hear D

Perhaps a time frame on the length of delay allowed between "Postponed" fixtures and their re-scheduling would be of benefit??

Also, I previously suggested that the team that calls off the match forfeits the right to hold the HOME game by way of penalising them through loss of revenue / compensation to the aggrieved side

Fantastic game and it was as close as the score suggests. We are happy to take the 3 points but Warrington were unlucky not to get a draw.

Below is the league rules for 2009 regarding unfulfilled fixtures

10 Unfulfilled Fixtures

10.1 Should a fixture not be played because of one club’s inability to field a side, the following rules will apply with regard to the fixture outcome:
10.2 The ‘non-offending’ club shall be awarded a victory.
10.3 The score awarded to the ‘non-offending’ club will be in line with the previous league result(s) of both clubs.
10.3.1 The score awarded to the ‘non-offending’ club will be their average points scored per match (played during that season).
10.3.2 The score awarded to the “offending club” will be the average points conceded by the “non offending club”
10.3.4 In the event of this formula resulting in a “win” for the “offending club” then the result will be declared as 24-0.
10.3.5 Such an average point’s difference will be rounded up to the nearest whole number if necessary.
10.3.6 The minimum score awarded to the ‘non-offending’ club is therefore 24-0.
10.3.7 Should the first match of the season not be played because of one club’s inability to field a side, the ‘non-offending’ club shall be awarded a victory by the score-line of 24-0.
10.3.8 In the Play off stage an unfulfilled fixture will lead to the expulsion of the
offending club.
10.3.9 The failure of a club to fulfil a scheduled fixture is a serious breach of the RLC Rules. An offending club will face disciplinary action. In the event of clubs failing to fulfil fixtures, the RLC Management will decide the level of punishment which may include a fine, deduction of league points or expulsion from the League. All clubs failing to fulfil two fixtures in a given season will be required to seek their re-application to the RLC National competition.

You missed off
10.4.0. The League management Committee will make up the rules as it along.
