Do you mean the Conference Regional? It's hard to give any answers really with such sketchy detail. If you are a new team, you will probably be better off entering the Merit League.

Yeah the NW Premier Division isn't a good place of entry for a new team, unless they have experiences players. There's currently no regional division below but they may try to make one and that may be a possible entry place if you have enough players to commit to every week, but generally the Merit League is a better entry point, in fact I don't think it's too late to enter now, though if you're interested look for the poster tim2 on here and he'll be able to tell you the full details

Email Niel Wood: niel.wood@rfl.uk.com

He is good at responding to emails and works with the league.

If you want summer games this year you can either play friendlies or join the RL Merit League and that is run by Tim Fellows: midlands_rl@btinternet.com

However, many teams will already have their fixtures planned by now, although there is usually teams changing fixtures later etc

Not this year, you can probably enter next year. The RLC is not a mickey mouse league though by any stretch, it's a pretty tough standard and I would still think the merit league would be a better way to go unless you were absolutely sure you could compete at Conference level. As bowes said, email Tim Fellows and you might even be able to play some games this year to see what the standard is like for you.

Yeah especially as entry level in the NW is currently at Premier division level. If the club joins the Merit League they can gauge their strength and maybe join a NW Regional Division when the time is right (unless they prove too strong, then go for Premier)
