In the 17th March issue of the Westmorland Gazette there was an article headed "Isolated people in South Cumbria urged to do this" . It did not mention any rugby league connection although it did show me wearing a St Helens jersey and holding the Rugby League Challenge Cup. This indicates that there is plenty rugby league in six novels that I have written since starting writing as a hobby in 1988. and with the first one set against the background of the terrible winter of 1962/63.
It also stated that anyone who would like me to send them three pages of advice that I have written on how to get started on writing a novel based on your life and times to message me at
wgeofflee@gmail.com. The paper correctly called them Geoff's North Western Platform.
However I have also written three similar pages aimed more at rugby league enthusiasts. These are called Geoff's RL Platform
Please feel free to request both versions particularly if you have relatives or neighbours who might be interested in doing something based on their life while they are self isolating but who may not be that interested in rugby league.
