Post subject:  Set Back

Now that Mr Garside has pulled out of funding from GT that leaves us in a little mess. I have to have respect for the Garside's as they have done a lot for the RL in the North-East and that I am thankful for. Next time you are up here I will buy you a pint for all the help, work and money you have given us over the last fiver years. Thank you.

GT are not in administration (yet) a new business plan is to be announced to the RFL this Friday to see where we go from here. Possible drop down a league or loose a few players. Maybe nothing will happen and the RFL will back these new plans 100%. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully you will put together a plan that will see you playing next year , I wont pretend that if you end up having to drop down a division and that resulted in a ' door ' opening for Leigh I wouldn't be happy

But not ' glad ' if you can understand what I mean

All the best

I'd prefer we dropped down and Leigh where given our place, just as long as GT don't fold. It would be a set back but a set back be can still build on. A total fold up would be to hard to come back from, at least a second time anyway.

Good luck , its going to be a hard slog to build up the club again.

we at Donny are in the same position but we have at least got the go ahead & have signed most of our squad.

You may be better playing in Championship 1 next season.

Once again good luck.
