Bold move to try and get upto 3000 likes in 3 weeks but it might work & good ticket offer too!

Shame they updated the offical eagles facebook page & didn't make a seperate facebook page for the hot-tub event.

Good work by the club though!

Just to bump this up to the top of the forum again - A Thread on the Virtual Terrace called "Alternative Marketing" trying to take the p*ss out of this, just tried to defend it, may be a losing battle with all the synics on there but we should all try and defend the Facebook page (to the best we can )

Yes alternative marketing from an alternative club from a forward looking city. There isn't a club in the country who shouldn't be looking at getting larger crowds and trying to capitalise on anything so long as it's legal.

If fans of other clubs are taking the p*ss so what - means that they have read the article and it's hit something!

I suspect that criticism will come from fans who may not have running hot water in some of the houses in their towns so don’t let it upset us

So what happens of it doesn't get to 3,000 likes?!

Hopefully it will still be £2 tickets! Was good effort by the club but should have gone for something more reasonable say a 1000 likes. However up from 80 or so to 300 in just over a week is good & i've seen it promoted (only once though) on the Walkabout & Hallam FM facebook pages too.
