Very good news and the article can be found below:

After hearing we made a loss in 2009, good to hear we have made a small profit in 2010. The Bramall Lane factor, especially the big crowd against Featherstone probably helped alot. Hopefully we can push on and get even bigger profits this year & hopefully we will get a big gate against Leigh next week too.

Onwards and upwards & all that :D

Big improvement and congratulations to all concerned.

But we need to make nearly £70000 just to put us back where we were in 2007 .....

We are not going to be making £70,000 anytime soon unless we win the grand final and the £100,000 windfall.
Does anyone know if their is a prize fund for winning the NRC Final?

I think considering the club hasn't won anything or got to a final in this division it's great that we made a profit last year.

Actually, the last time we made a profit, we missed the play-offs.

No winning bonuses to pay out.

Success isn't always as profitable as you assume.

True but I'd rather make a profit by winning the grand final than by missing out on the National League 2 playoffs.

Aye - if the £100000 was all profit.

A fair wedge goes to the players and HM Revenue and Customs.
