If you watch any other games of RL, whether it be on the telly or in person, SL, Championship, Championship 1 or any amateur games, and want to share something, share it in here!!

Went to watch Batley vs Hunslet today seeing as we played yesterday, Batley had a 10-0 lead at half time after running uphill for 40 mins which was always going to be ominous(sp) for Hunslet, they ran away with it a bit in the second half and it finished 38-12. Richie Barnett scored a walk in try for Hunslet but did sod all else to be fair.

Heard most of the post-match interview with Rhino on BBC Leeds. He was certainly frank & honest. Made 5 changes from the game with Fev, thought they dominated in the forwards and could have scored more.
When asked why Gareth Moore wasn't in the 17 - is he injured, he said "No, he was poor against Fev, dropped him & he's got to work his way back in". I wouldn't want to argue with Rhino!

Personally, I think people underestimate the difficulty of defending uphill at Batley.

Yep I agree griff, still history tells you the team attacking downhill scores more points than the one attacking uphill.

It does - and there is an advantage but it's not as marked as people think. Batley play the slope very well.

If you're facing downhill and you haven't got the ball, you're playing uphill.

Eagles have a pretty good record going up the slope over the years, i think the advantage isnt as much as people think, apart from when its really windy.

But we're all in agreement that, whether it be substantial or not, there is an advantage, and if you turn around 10 points down at half time with 40 mins of running up the slope ahead of you, you're probably not going to get much from the game.

The odds would be against you.

Probably your best chance is to get one or two of the opposition sent off.

Leeds vs Wigan, great game. Leeds in complete control until last 10 mins, great drama.

All the sky games were really poor I thought last weekend. Nathan Brown's comments in the league express this morning were interesting regarding Leeds vs Huddersfield, I expect they'll land him in some hot water!!
