Half time, ball handling is worse than the eagles and that's not an exaggeration, absolutely embarrassing. If Leroy Cudjoe is an international rugby league player I'm a Chinaman.

I weren't far off with my guess either ;)

We just weren't good enough, the referee was incredibly biased but didn't affect the outcome imo, we just have too many average players compared to the Aussies, if you compare the threequarter lines and half back pairings there is such a gulf in class, for us to have any chance we had to win the forward battle and we didn't. Dropped far too much ball, not sure I can be arsed to get up at 5am next Saturday for a nothing game, might get up just to watch Menzie tear us apart!!

cant fault the comments so far why do we let the aussies dictate who should be the ref , the rfl should have the balls to stnd up to the arl not cow tail to them ,no ref tries to be biased but they have different interpretations of the rules to us . our forwards are not big enough or skillfull enough to compete and our half back pairing was none exsistent today . i think against the kumuls we will struggle ,i hope not but i can see us coming home with the wooden spoon if we're not carefull.

Poor refereeing decisions made the result worse that it should have been.

As the critics keep saying this is not a particularly good Aussie side but same goes for England too.

A disappointing night from Tomkins but Burgess had a good one.

England have not got enough players who are capable of competing at this level.

England will beat PNG but nowhere near as convincing as NZ and Oz have done.

England need quality opposition in the Northern Hemisphere but I think we are quite a way off getting that.

The Catalans were placed in Super League to aid the development of the French national team and give England serious northern hemisphere competition by promoting local players at a high level of competition.

The Dragons had one good season in 2008, apart from that theyve propped up the table most years. France finished 10th (out of 10) in the 2008 World Cup, were humiliated by scratch England teams in 2009 and 2010 and finished bottom of this years Anglo Cup.

Id say that the French expansion plan of the early 21st century hasnt worked too well.

Stevo also made a good point about foreigners playing in the Super League, leading to young English talent not developing as it should, fair point in my eyes, similar to the Premier League in football.
