A hard nasty player, dirty at times,but my kind of player and you would have him on your team everyday of the week,31 years of age,same age as me,so sad and must have been so many problems he kept to himself, Leaving two young daughters,Surely it cant be that bad to do that.RIP Terry Newton.Very sad. |

Indeed, left a sour taste in the mouth after a very entertaining finals day. It must be horrible to think that that is your only way out of your problems. Incredibly sad and extremely tragic. RIP. |

As someone who has tried to end it myself because of depression i do understand this. I didnt know too much about Terry other than games he played on sky but the loss of anyone from the rugby league family is tragic and with a young family is even more so. My condolences to all. |
