Ok yes I've defended the boys before and i'll never criticise as those boys are braver than me. I will say though that tonight was not really acceptable in the grand scheme of what the club wants to achieve. On tonights showing we don't deserve a play-off place but we must all now rally behind the lads for one last massive effort against Leigh.

The knock-ons were shocking and our attacking play seemed to lack ideas. Despite a woeful refereeing performance in our favour (never thought I'd say that), we couldn't kick on and get a result.

One game left, men or boys? They decide.

Absolute dogger, too many knock ons, AGAIN. We lacked ideas with the ball, it seems if we don't win the arm wrestle in the forwards we lose, because other than bust it up the middle we had no other alternative, no guile. Even the consistent performers didn't show up tonight. Playoffs by no means a certainty now, especially if Batley turn over Fax at the weekend.

Taulapapa was excellent at full back but no-one else really shone. Special mention to Peter Green for giving away FOUR penalties.

TBH i didnt think we were that bad,If we would have had the oddbreak here or there we could possibly have got the bonus or close to winning it,Widnes played well but the scoreline flattered them,The difference was they took there chances and we didnt,Thought Henderson looked a class act when he came on,the difference between him and cook regarding speed at the play the ball is unbelievable,Cooks had a good season but Henderson seems a class above and should be one of our priority signings,Misi was good at full back but slow at times when he was turned by the grubber kicks,We seemed clueless when near the oppositions line,If Brendon is going we need two new halfbacks,A mixture of experience and youth and new ideas,Danny Mills has been a disapointment for me since he's comeback,Not really got upto speed with the games he's played him.Craig Cook with his forward pass was a turning point staright after we got back into the game and Brendons long interception pass,Small things change games.

And the worst knock on ever. Can't see us holding on to Misi, he's EASILY good enough to play in Super League, or the NRL for that matter.

We had a boatload of field position early in the second half but couldn't score.

Credit to their defence - it was top class.

Their defence was awesome, but to be honest I think I could've coached a team of U12's to work us out, bash it up the middle and if that doesn't work pass it out wide once in a while and drop the ball. Frustrating as hell.

Another loss at Widnes. Even with Ronnie helping us out a bit. Hopefully Widnes will get a Superleague place soon and we won't have to go there for a while. Not that I've anything against Widnes, it's just that we can never seem to get the better of them. Misi played well and Menzie was his usual self but nobody else really showed up. We now need to win our last home game against Leigh and hope that Halifax can do us a favour by beating Batley on Sunday.

I thought your 2 wingers and fullback had good games, Was very impressed at the amount of balls Danny "mind me nose" Mills took in.

Misi Taulapapa and Tim Bergin - yes, Danny Mills - no.
