Terrible second half and we ended up getting what we deserved in the end. Far far too many errors when in possession. Shame as when we didn't drip it the play was good. Honourable mentions to Misi who caught everything and Simon Brown, some awesome passing.

as you say dr badvibes we dropped the ball to many times in our 20 metre zone and didn't take the points when we had the chance simon browns kicking was the best so far , and misi had a cracking game today . As for tangi's try eighty meters i'd like to see that again it was the best try of the season . hope we can hang on to him next season, hopefully the leigh match won't be on sky as i'm running out of holidays ,they think i'm daft at work for using my holidays to follow the eagles but i've been at it that long now i can't stop no matter what happen's .

Disappointing today, showed in glimpses what we're capable of but dropped far too much ball, a very frustrating afternoon. Misi was easily man of the match, simply awesome. Some very strange decisions from the man in the middle too, no excuses though, deserved to lose today.

Our defending at times was woeful.

Too many errors early in the set, giving them a great platform for attack. I thought the turning point was the very doubtful knock on by Misi when facing his own goal. I dunno how he could have got that one wrong. We'd just got back into the game and Dave Larder scored off the ensuing set.

And Shad Royston must've scored about two million tries off that move.

Realised today that 38-24 was the exact score we beat Halifax by exactly a year ago today (13 August 2009).
