Ill give the lads a fair bot of credit tonight, the played with heart and passion. We were not far away from Barrow, but we just made too many mistakes in key areas and just about all of them were punished.

The referee was awful for both sides and spoiled what was really quite a good game of rugby league. Still they will never get everything right.

Was a bit strange being back at DVS tonight but i do prefer Bramall Lane if im honest. (Never thought id say that).

Glad the shirts were finally for sale and there seemed to be a roaring trade. At least the club will make some money from this whole sorry episode.

PS I make no apologies for my rant about the Barrow player knocking on which went out live on the radio, i was right, the ref was wrong! :SNOOTY:

ref was terrible through out the whole game. I think its another game that has got away from us. Im just wondering if matt brooks got injuried for last 15min of the game? Funny change when we only had two fit playmakers and he was one of them.

Thought we played quite well on another day we could have one that,A couple of dodgy decisions in build upto tries,The one were Bergin was penalised for taking out Broadbent was an atrocious decision and lead to there try,Broadbent totally wiped out Bergin and he gave them the penalty,Several of the alleged ball steals in the 2nd half were touch and go,The problem with the eagles is they switch off too often and lose concentration and it leads to opposition tries,I think if we were turned on for the 80 mins we would be challenging the top four.We seriously lack somthing when Groom doesnt play,I know he hasnt been at his best but the replacements for him just dont come upto standard,Brendon is trying to create all on his own and its too predictable,Given that Matty Brooks played well when he came on but he's no scrum half!!!

It's been said before but Richard Lee is far better than Mr Ramsay (senior)

I thought we did ok last night, ref was pants and we just made too many errors at vital times, which to be fair has been the story of our season. Barrow were just a little more clinical towards the end of the game and therefore took the spoils, the improvements from our away visit to Barrow earlier on in the season though are vast. The fact Trevor managed to bundle over at the end is credit to our never say die attitude and earned us a point. The playoffs are looking very touch and go now, the next two games are absolutely vital as we are fighting Batley and Toulouse for 6th place, if we take 6 points we'll get 6th, anything less and I'm not so sure.

matt brooks is the best we have currently playing. To true the next 2 games will tell if we can make the finals.
