Great victory for the Reserves at Leigh this afternoon. Leigh had won all their games so far this season but succumbed to a 36-30 defeat (should have been more really). Tries Sam Blaney, Corey Hanson 3, Greg Pygott, Eddie Battye. Goals Greg Pygott 6 (from 6, though he couldn't find touch from a penalty for toffee) Marvellous day out. |

Well done reserves, Cory Hanson must be knocking on the door of a first team call up now, he must be cursing his luck at the quality of our centres, although Tangi Ropati is hardly pulling up any trees... |

I think cory is more than ready for 1st team. Think he will get a game before the year is out, next year he will be a certain 1st choice player. Tangi looks like he is just down on confidence only takes one decent game to get it back. By the looks of most of our games we favour our left side attack to much or we drop the ball. |

I certainly think that Corey and Jamie Cottle both have first team potential by don't throw them in at the deep end until they can swim. Tubbys always been an excellent judge of player ability and he will know when the time is right. You forget two of he lads who were in the reserves last year are now playing at national league level, well done to them. |
