Just reading on the total RL forum (don't have an account on there) that the club needs volunteers. Can anyone shed any light on what this may be as i'd love to contribute in writing things for the e-newsletter or website, updating the facebook site or even handing out flyers etc. Thanks

Great minds and all that.

I've got a couple of ideas for a fanzine and would appreciate any ideas/input that people have.

Does anyone know how we could get cheap printing done?
Is anyone skilled at Desktop publishing?

I can do stuff on Word etc which may be good enough for a document that's not too complicated

Ideas so far include a "Focus On" - perhaps a couple of players in each edition
Stats, facts and general trival info
Wordsearch

I have a question.

Are the club able to or could the supporters club market merchandise or does the agreement with Kukri prohibit this?

Vistaprint.co.uk (there are others) can produce a variety of promotional goods.

This would probably be low profit stuff but the advantage is that small quantities could be ordered.

My ideas are mugs, calandars perhaps, pens, keyrings - all low cost less than a fiver stuff. Low protit margin too but at least it's something.

T-shirts have been mentioned but these are slightly more.

Do fans want to buy this type of stuff if so what can be done?

There's a company that will even do merchandise in singles. Cafe Press, is it ? I can't remember.

Downside is that you have to order it and wait for it to arrive.

So what are the chances of getting the proposed fanzine out for the Barrow game?
EagleRaider is hopefully providing some info but does anyone else want to do any articles etc? Does anyone have any definite details about the proposed coach to Featherstone?

I've been doing some bits and have about 9 pages done but I am aware it needs to be more of a collaborative thing but I’ve been on hols and there hasn’t been much time. 12 full pages sits on 3 sheets of A4 duplex.

I’ve set an address up eaglesfanzine@rocketmail.com so anyone can send stuff there.
Abusive emails though will be forwarded to the ISPs

In terms of help needed going forward if anyone can assist with
Printing
Distribution on Thursday

If we miss the Barrow game it's a long wait to the next home game.

If the committee want to see the draft then let me know.
