Today marks the 21st anniversary of a day when 96 innocent football fans died in our city. RIP.

I recall having a look at the West terrace before we played Saints. The crush barriers were still there and you couldn't help but think about the tremendous pressure they must have been under to bend them almost double.

I watched this on TV at my Grandma's. Didn't really understand what was going on at the time. Only years later and seeing Hillsborough on a daily basis brought it home.

I was at Northamton Town watching the Blades,we won 2-1 8) ,There was an announcement on the tannoy at half-time just saying there was an incident at Hillsborough and a few fans were injured,As we got to the car for the journey home it reported that there was 3 or 4 dead,As we travelled home the reports just kept confirming more deaths,it was a strange journey home and one i'll never forget,As we dropped my mate off at Handsworth the total was 80 and Sheffield was like a ghost town, there was nobody about,A very strange and surreal day.RIP

I was 6 years old, I remember knowing that an important
football match was going on at hillsborough on that
Saturday. It was clear from the tv reports that somethng was wrong.
We raced to my sisters bedroom (now mine) which looks out over Herries Road to see ambulance after ambulance going down the hill.

I was too young to understand then. But now I do. To the 96, YNWA!
